Love Himalaya Journey is a new company with an experienced core. Our founder and CEO, Deepak Rimal, has spent more than 20 years inside Nepal's trekking industry, and the guides and lodges we work with come from those relationships.

We keep the team small on purpose. Each person below owns a clear part of your trip, so a question reaches someone who can answer it.

Who does what.

From your first message to the morning you leave for the trailhead, these six people plan, book and prepare every trip.

Founder & CEO

Deepak Rimal

Founded Love Himalaya Journey after more than 20 years inside Nepal's trekking industry. The guide network and lodge relationships we work with were built by him, and safety decisions stop with him.

Our certified guides.

From your first message to the trailhead.

You always know who is handling your trip, and nobody hands you off to a call centre.

1
You send us a message
Nirjala Rimal and Nirmala Rimal
A real person replies and asks only what we need first: how many of you, which dates, and anything about health or fitness we should plan around.
2
We plan your trip
Nirajan Rimal
You receive the route, dates, the price for your group size, and a plain list of what is and is not included. Ask as many questions as you like.
3
You confirm the booking
Sandesh Ghimire
Deposit, invoice and payment all go through one person, so you always know who to ask about money.
4
We prepare the ground
Nirajan Rimal
The same person who planned your trip arranges the permits, transport and lodges, and checks them before you arrive.
5
You walk with a certified guide
Our guide team, with Deepak Rimal
One of our certified guides leads the trek. The safety standard they work to is set by the CEO, not adjusted by price tier.

Five values the whole team works to.

The same principles apply in the office and on the trail, whichever trek or tier you choose.

Radical transparency

Real inclusions, real limits, real people. If something is not included or not certain, we tell you before you book.

Safety as foundation

Every guest gets the same duty of care. Safety is never an upgrade you pay extra for.

Altitude and presence

We plan the ascent around how the body adjusts to altitude, and leave room to take in where you are.

Cultural stewardship

We travel as guests, and only promise the access our team has actually confirmed.

Personal attention

Guide judgement and attention to your group over rigid, factory-style schedules.

Talk to the people who will run your trip.

Tell us the route and dates you have in mind. A member of this team will reply, not an automated form.
