03Analytics cookies
Analytics tells us which pages are useful: trek details, safety protocol, pricing tiers, and inquiry paths. We use aggregate patterns, not individual advertising profiles.
We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode. Before you accept analytics, Google Analytics runs in cookieless mode: it sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, sending only aggregate, anonymised measurement signals (including conversion events such as a submitted inquiry). Only after you accept analytics does Google Analytics set the cookies below for fuller measurement. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights also load only after analytics consent is saved.
After you accept analytics, we also use Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used: heatmaps of where people click and scroll, and recordings of visits with anything you type into forms masked. Clarity does not load at all until you accept analytics.
These tools are loaded through Google Tag Manager, which sets no cookies of its own.

04Marketing cookies
If you accept marketing cookies, we load the Meta Pixel. It tells Meta which of our pages you visited and whether you sent an inquiry or application, so we can show our Instagram and Facebook ads to people who have already visited this site and see which ads lead to inquiries. It never receives what you type into a form.
The Meta Pixel does not load at all until you accept marketing cookies. You can switch it off again under Preferences above.
