This policy describes how Love Himalaya Journey Pvt. Ltd. handles personal information when you use lovehimalayajourney.com or book a trek with us. We are based in Kwabahal, Thamel Marg, Kathmandu 44600, Nepal.
02Data we collect
We group personal data by the job it does. The category determines why we process it and how long we keep it.
Full legal name, date of birth, nationality, passport number, and passport expiry. Required for trekking permits.
Email, phone, emergency contact, and home address where needed for insurance or refunds.
Dietary needs, declared medical conditions, insurance details, and altitude monitoring readings logged on the trail.
Invoice numbers and payment timestamps. Stripe handles all payment data; we do not store card numbers.
IP address, device class, browser type, and pages visited in aggregate analytics. See our Cookie Policy.
Newsletter subscription and content preferences, only if you opt in.
We do not collect biometric data, advertising profiles, location tracking outside trek logistics, or personal data about anyone other than you and the emergency contact you nominate.
03How we use it
To run the trek
Identity, contact, trek, and medical data let us process permits, book lodges, assign guides, manage altitude monitoring, and coordinate emergency response if needed.
To take payment
Transaction data lets us invoice, reconcile, and report financial activity. The legal basis is the contract you enter when you book.
To improve the website
Technical data tells us which pages people read and where they leave. We use this in aggregate. We do not build individual ad profiles.

06How long we keep it
Booking, invoice, and operational records are kept for the period required for accounting, tax, and operational safety review. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Inquiry data that does not become a booking is periodically removed.
